Police recover abducted father, son from Kacha area

Sukkur Police Saturday claimed to have recovered a father and son duo successfully who had been abducted by dacoits for ransom a week prior in the Kacha area, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Saturday.
The police action, which was initiated against kidnappers last night, culminated in the recovery of the two hostages within the jurisdiction of Qadirpur police station.
The captives, identified as Ghuram and his son Waqas from the Lakhan clan were being relocated by the kidnappers when the police intervened.
Following a brief exchange of gunfire, the kidnappers fled, leaving the hostages behind.
The relieved family members are expected to be reunited with the victims shortly.
