Two 'drug smugglers' nabbed in Peshawar

The Excise Department claimed to have nailed two drug smugglers after a fierce clash between the outlaws and the lawmen on Ring Road in Peshawar.

According to a spokesperson for the Excise Department, as lawmen chased a suspicious vehicle and the riders fired shots.

The vehicles of lawmen and the outlaws collided with each other, the official said, adding that an Excise SI sustained injuries in the incident.

The injured was rushed to a hospital. A huge quantity of drugs were recovered and further investigation is underway.
