JI chief warns govt against unconstitutional steps

Jamaat-e-Islami Chief Hafiz Naeemur Rehman has said that Pakistan has become a centre of crisis while the government was not paying attention on it, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Addressing a rally in Gujarat, JI chief said heavy taxes are being taken from every individual but this amount was not being spent on public welfare, rather entire public money was being used in the form of loan and interest payments. He said the rulers are enjoying free electricity and the common people are not able to pay the bills. He urged the masses to get ready for a decisive war against the corrupt rulers.
He said Jamaat-e-Islami is going to unite people of Pakistan against this system.
Hafiz Naeem said there was a constitutional crisis in the country as the government wanted judges of their choice in the institutions. He warned the government that JI will not let the government kill the constitution overnight.
He demanded the government should immediately announce Syed Mansoor Ali Shah as the next Chief Justice of Pakistan. He said today those who spoke against General Bajwa were seen lined up for his extension.
