Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on Saturday taunted President Arif Alvi who also visited and distributed ration among flood-wrecked people and said just ration distribution will not solve the problems of the poor masses.
Addressing party workers in flood-hit areas of Mirpurkhas, the PPP Chairman urged Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf led federal government to provide Watan Cards to flood-affected people.
Bilawal reminded the federal government that former president Asif Ali Zardari had provided Watan Cards to flood-hit victims in 2012.
Bilawal said PPP is continuously highlighting the rain and flood issues in the province, actually nudging the federal government towards helping the people. “This is just a beginning,” he added.
He asked the party workers to remain united and work for the rehabilitation of the people. He vowed that PPP will not leave people alone in these difficult times.
The PPP chairman alleged that the central government gave Rs200 billion less to the Sindh government against the fixed share of the National Finance Commission (NFC) Award.
