Khawaja Asif boycotts of NA special Committee citing double standards

A meeting of Special Committee of the National Assembly has been called again on tomorrow (Friday) at 12pm. JUI-F chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman and Opposition leader in National Assembly Omar Ayub has also been included in the committee, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

During meeting on Thursday, Defence Minister Khawaja Asif announced boycott of the meeting of the Special Committee while Maula Fazl urged him to sit down and attend the meeting of the National Assembly.

He said that he could not forget the insult which PTI government had inflicted on PML-N leadership.

Kh Asif said that when PML-N was in opposition, General Faiz Hameed ordered him to vote against Yousuf Raza Gillani.

Defence Minsiter said when PML_N President Nawaz Sharif was in jail, he reprtedly repquest the government to allow him to make a call with his ailing wife Kalsoon Nawaz but he was refuted.

Defence Minsiter said when PTI government committed all injustices with PML-N then it was right and now what was happening with Imran Khan was wrong. He said double standard can not be tolerated.

Maulana Fazl requested Kh Asif to discuss all these issues in the parliament and now sit down with the members of the committee.
