Deewangi drama seems to have reached its climax

August 13, 2020 05:09 PM

The best-laid plans of mice and men often go awry…that certainly applies to Sultan’s plan to eliminate Haroon from his path. Produced under the banner of 7th Sky Entertainment by Abdullah Kadwani and Asad Qureshi, Deewangi seems to have reached its climax.

In the latest episode, we finally got to witness a showdown between Haroon and Sultan. It went pretty much as one would expect it would…but for a final twist.

The episode begins with Sultan making a campaign promise based on education for the rural areas. Haroon is there to ask about his sister’s husband.

To his shock, Sultan lies to him about Fawad. Distraught, he goes home to his mother and vows never to go back to Sultan. Life is about to take another turn now. After knowing some half-truths about Nageen, Haroon decides to move to Dubai and take up the new job offer along with Ramsha.

Nageen, on the other hand, is desperate as she fears the worst. At the last minute, when everything seemed lost, she confides with Haroon. She reveals that the person behind all the trouble is actually Sultan. Naturally, Haroon goes to Sultan intending to hurt him, simply falling into the trap put in by Sultan.

Things go as one would have thought they would. After a brief exchange of taunts and insults, Haroon tries to attack Sultan. But Sultan’s man is on hand to beat Haroon red and blue. The plan is to kill him and make it look like an accident. They have paid off the police and leave Haroon bleeding in the car on a deserted road.

But as luck would have it, someone sees Haroon in the car in a dire state. They call an ambulance. It becomes a matter of life and death for Haroon. Haroon’s family and Ramsha know who did this to him. As Haroon fights for his life, the circle seems to be finally closing in on Sultan.

Will this nefarious man finally pay for his sins?
