Oneplus is a smartphone brand sharing the father brand with Oppo and was founded in December of 2013. Oneplus made their debut with the Oneplus ONE in the April of 2014, behind which, the idea was to capture the market from Google’s Nexus series.
The main idea behind Oneplus was to capture and lead the niche market of Smartphones for enthusiasts with all the top-notch and out of the box features in comparatively lesser prices than the competitor brands flagships. Oneplus has always served their sole idea and given flagship masterpieces to their customers. They have made such a bond with their customers that they come to Oneplus from other brands but cannot go to any other once they have started using it. OP’s price reduction technique is to cut out some less wanted or less used features and also not to get the certified ratings of some features like water and dust proofing but giving it in their phones.
The man behind the flagship killer brand, the co-founder Pete Lau recently tweeted a photo of a motherboard and the Integrated circuit of a phone with hinges on it and also being folded.

Pete has left his followers and OP enthusiasts bamboozled by the caption, which says “What do you think this is?”
There are many guesses in the comments about what it might be. Some said it is Oppo’s Find N and some proposed that it is Oppo’s new foldable phone. One follower said that it is an engineering masterpiece to which Lau said that he likes this answer.
The rumors have it that the foldable mechanism shown in the tweet is most probably the setup for none other than Oneplus’ new Foldable device which may be unveiled soon and is expected to come with the latest Android 13. There has not been an updates by Oneplus regarding this but it is expected to have some similarities with the sister brand’s Oppo find N which was release at the end of last year.
Some features on the Oppo Find N worth noting are the beefy 7.1-inch inward folding, with a 120Hz refresh rate main screen and a 5.49-inch cover OLED display. The processor is the very powerful Qualcomm 888 SoC coupled with 12GBs of ram and up to 512GBs of storage. For the main camera machinery, the Oppo Find N has a triple rear camera setup with a 50-megapixel Sony IMX766 primary sensor lens, a 16-megapixel ultra-wide angle lens, and a 13-megapixel telephoto lens whereas, for the selfie cameras, it uses a 32-megapixel camera on the outer screen and a 32-megapixel camera on the inner screen. The battery is a huge 4500mAh with 33W SuperVOOC charging mechanism. These features from the Oppo Find N, releasing last year makes the enthusiasts’ mouths water and makes them impatient because Oneplus always gives the best and even better than what the competitors deliver in the market.
Samsung is currently ruling the foldable smartphone market but its reign might not last once OP unleashes their foldable beast.
