Ayesha Akram, the TikToker's harassment incident, which had taken place at Greater Iqbal Park, Lahore on August 14, 2021, and had remained under the spotlight for several months, now appears to have been forgotten, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Protests were held across the country against the incident and more than 100 persons were taken into custody as well. But now it seems it is part of history.

Rambo, friend of the TikToker, who was initially a complainant in the case, later became a suspect.

In one of the case’s challans, 11 persons, both men and teenage boys, were nominated while in the other six persons were nominated.

Due to the objections raised by the defendants, the challan remained a rolling stone for six months.

Now the court has ordered the suspects to appear on September 6, 2022.

Lawyers, on the other hand, have showed their concern over delay in justice in the case.

They have said that such delays emboldened the criminals who then have no fear of accountability.
