Jamshoro grid station tripping darkens many Sindh cities

The electricity supply to many areas of Sindh was suspended Tuesday after a tripping took place at 500kV grid station in Jamshoro, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
According to the spokesperson for Hyderabad Electric Supply Company (Hesco), power supply to the grid stations of Hyderabad, Tando Allahyar, Badin, Tando Mohammad Khan and Mirpur Khas was stopped.
The power tripping had occurred at 6:50am in the morning.
“The teams of National Transmission and Despatch Company (NTDC) are busy fixing the technical glitch,” the Hesco spokesperson said.
“The power supply will be restored as soon as the technical fault is rectified,” he added.
