CM Naqvi lays foundation stone of new PBC building

Punjab Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi Friday laid the foundation stone of the new building of the Punjab Bar Council in Lahore, reported the 24NewsHd TV channel.
Allocating a generous grant of Rs. 50 million to the Punjab Bar Council, the CM expressed his commitment to enhancing the legal environment in the province.
Former President Supreme Court Bar Ahsan Bhawan. Former Federal Prime Minister Nazir Tarar. President Punjab Bar Council Asif Shahzad Advocate General Punjab, Vice Chairman Punjab Bar Council Basharat Ullah Khan. Secretary Law, Secretary Public Prosecution, and other officials of the Punjab Bar Council were also present on this occasion.
During the briefing, CM Mohsin Naqvi emphasized the vital role played by the legal fraternity in society and assured that addressing their concerns remained a top priority.
The announcement of constructing a new building on the allocated plot associated with the Punjab Bar Council was fulfilled, he remarked.
CM Naqvi added that resolving legitimate issues of the legal fraternity stands as his duty, and this government is a friend to lawyers."
The chief minister highlighted the friendly approach of the government towards lawyers and reaffirmed his dedication to addressing issues on priority grounds.
Earlier, Mohsin Naqvi was accorded a warm welcome by the lawyer's community at PBC secretariat.
