Proof in Chowrangi killing case found against AVLC Police

An ambulance driver Wednesday present at the scene gave proof of Anti-Vehicle Lifting Cell (AVLC) police killing a citizen and injuring one in firing, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The eyewitness ambulance driver said that he was informed about the incident around 10 last night on which he went to Chowrangi Chowk.

He said that he saw a police mobile there and the policemen told him that the person who they shot was a dacoit. The injured had passed away when he was put in the ambulance and the police told the driver to take the corpse to the police station. After that, the Police vehicle fled towards 4K Chowrangi of New Karachi.

For the unversed, a Dubai-returned man was killed while a relative of him was injured allegedly in firing by police. The Police said that the deceased was identified as Hashim, a resident of North Nazimabad, and he had been residing in Dubai for over 15 years. Hashim was killed while the relative was injured after the police opened fire at them for disregarding their signal to stop.
