Some of the best songs from the 15th season of Coke Studio Pakistan, include Aayi Aayi, Chal Chaliye, Jhol, Piya Piya Calling, Mehman, Maghron La, O Yaara, and many more. However, it's fair to say that Blockbuster, sung by Faris Shafi, Umair Butt, and Gharwi Group is the one that stole all the limelight. The Blockbuster song has once again proved the mettle of Coke Studio Pakistan, as it is their biggest one-take production video, which has created a stir on the internet.
Whether we talk about the set design, creativity in direction, or the way singers have succeeded in bringing the best out of the Gharwi Group, it is beyond perfection. The video of the Blockbuster song on YouTube has more than 19 million views and 287K likes. The song is also leading the trending chart on Instagram and so far 298K reels have been made on Blockbuster.

Apart from the production and set design of Blockbuster, the song also rules the internet due to the introduction of a cute little Pakistani girl who stunned everyone with her voice. For the uninitiated, Saba is the little girl, who featured in Blockbuster, and her poise and captivating voice have made her a 'showstopper' of the hit song. The little girl looked so confident in front of the camera that it shocked millions of people worldwide, who are in love with Saba's introduction in Blockbuster.

People have been in love with Saba's singing and personality since the release of the song, Blockbuster. It's fair to say that Saba has played a crucial role in making the song viral on different social media platforms. However, what's interesting is that Saba was not a part of the production initially.
Yes! You read it right! In a conversation with Coke Studio Pakistan, Xulfi revealed that when the Gharwi Group came to the studio, they had a girl along with them, who was tasked to take care of a little boy. During the rehearsals, Saba was also present on the sets and observed everything.
Xulfi further revealed that when they started recording, Saba was sitting behind him on a chair and was taking care of her little brother while humming the line, "Cutey teeno mein samjhariya wey chhod de to funkariyan," from the song, Blockbuster. After listening to Saba's voice, he immediately told her to sing the same line on the mic, and her voice blew away everyone's mind on the set.
Soon after listening to Saba's voice, the show's producer, Xulfi decided to make Saba a part of the song, Blockbuster, and the rest, as they say, is history. The song went viral on the internet, and Saba became an overnight sensation. For the unversed, the three female singers, Rooha, Sajida, and Abida from the Gharwi Group, also caught everyone's attention and received a lot of love. Gharwi Group belongs to the Gharwi gharana, which has produced legendary singers like Reshma and Mehdi Hassan. We hope Coke Studio Pakistan continues to create magical songs like Blockbuster in the upcoming seasons.
