Rain offers respite to heat-stricken people of Thar

Different parts of Tharparkar in Sindh received rain on Monday, bringing much-needed respite for the people of the district who often suffer because of draught-like conditions in their district due to less rainfall, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The Met Office, on the other hand, said that a rain producing system had entered southern and south-eastern parts of Sindh and that more rains were expected in Tharparkar and its adjoining areas during the next 24 hours.
