Due to anti-inflation protests, the AJK government announced a holiday on May 13 (Monday) in government offices and educational institutions in Muzaffarabad, 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Sunday.

All district government offices will be closed on Monday, May 13 in Muzaffarabad, the capital of Azad Kashmir, due to the wheel jam and shutter-down strike of the Joint Action Committee of Azad Kashmir, a notification said.

The notification said that due to the wheel jam strike, the employees may face difficulty in reaching the office.

Similarly, all the public and private educational institutions, universities and colleges of Muzaffarabad will remain closed on Monday, May 13.
