Maryam Nawaz Sharif, the Senior Vice President and Chief Organizer of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) has extended warm Diwali greetings to the Hindu community of Pakistan, reported the 24NewsHD TV channel.
In a press statement on Sunday, she expressed heartfelt felicitations to the Hindu citizens on this joyous occasion, emphasizing the importance of their happiness, peace, and progress under the leadership of Nawaz Sharif.
Maryam said that it was the tradition of the PML-N to safeguard the rights of non-Muslim Pakistanis.
She pledged to further advance this tradition in the light of the Constitution, ensuring increased opportunities for non-Muslim Pakistanis in decision-making and development processes.
Maryam Nawaz continued that the progress of minorities equates to the advancement and strength of Pakistan as a whole.
She also commemorated the day by acknowledging and honouring the services rendered for the defense, safety, and progress of the beloved homeland by the minorities.
