Uniform Syllabus Phase-II to commence from new academic year

The Punjab Cabinet Committee on Legislative Affairs met with Parliamentary Affairs Minister Raja Basharat in the chair, 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Thursday.
The committee approved the decision to bring the new academic year's second phase of the uniform curriculum to Punjab.
The curriculum of seven subjects from 6th to 8th standard will be made uniform
Ministers Khurram Shehzad and Ali Afzal Sahi also attended the meeting.
The uniform curriculum will be brought in the subjects of Urdu, English, Mathematics, History, Geography, General Science and Computer Sciences
In the new curriculum, an addition will be made to Sunnah, Raja Bisharat said, adding that the decision will give all students an opportunity to study the one curriculum.
The committee also approved the renewal of the contract for automation of the Punjab Revenue Authority and MoU for a direct payment gateway with State Bank, amendments to the Punjab Services Sales Tax Act.
