Big fall in gold prices in Pakistan

Pakistani jewellers’ market observed a great fall in gold prices on Thursday when the international market was witnessing a big increase in the rates of yellow metal.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, the price of 24 karats of pure gold dropped by Rs7,800 per tola in the Pakistani jewellers market.
After this big decrease, prices of pure gold reached Rs1,97,200 per tola while the price of 10 grams of gold also decreased by Rs6,684 to Rs1,69,070.
The price of 10 grams of 22 karats of gold which is usually used for jewellery making in Pakistan also reduced and traded at Rs1,54,978.
In the international market on Thursday, the price of pure gold of 24 karats increased by US$13 per ounce and traded at US$1,885 per ounce.
Though the prices of gold decreased in the Pakistani market on Thursday, the price of silver did not change and traded at Rs2,500 per tola.
