PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi, selection committee discuss team's recent performance

Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Syed Mohsin Naqvi on Sunday directed the curators to improve the standards of pitches in the country, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The PCB chairman gave these directives while chairing a special meeting of the selection committee and mentors in Multan that lasted for two hours.
Naqvi first met with the mentors and then held a joint session with the mentors as well as members of the selection committee.
There was a detailed discussion on team Pakistan’s recent performance and the fitness level of the players.
The PCB chairman was informed of possible changes to the national squad after a humiliating loss to England in the first test at Multan.
A consensus was reached at the meeting that the process to judge the performances of new players would be completed by the end of the ongoing series against England.
Similarly, it was also agreed that the process to test the fitness levels of these players would also be completed by the end of the series.
Members of the selection committee Aqib Javed, Azhar Ali, Aleem Dar, Asad Shafiq, Hassan Cheema, Advisor Bilal Afzal, Director Domestic Cricket Abdullah Khurram Niazi, Director High-Performance Nadeem Khan, mentors Shoaib Malik, Misbahul Haq, Waqar Younus, Saqlain Mushtaq and Sarfaraz Ahmad attended the meeting.
