Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan's friend former Indian minister Baba Siddique killed

Mumbai was shaken by the tragic killing of prominent Indian politician and former Maharashtra minister Baba Siddique, who was shot dead in a targeted attack, reported 24NewsHD TV Channel on Sunday.

According to Indian media reports, three assailants opened fire on Siddique near Ram Mandir, targeting him at his son Zeeshan Siddique’s office.

The attackers fired six shots, three of which struck Siddique. He was rushed to Lilavati Hospital in critical condition, but despite efforts, he could not survive the injuries.

Following the attack, two individuals were taken into custody as the investigation unfolded.

Baba Siddique was well-known for hosting lavish Iftar parties, which often saw the attendance of Bollywood icons like Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan.

The Congress party has expressed condolences over his passing.
