Ameer Muassab Tipu, brother of slain Amir Balaj Tipu a prominent figure in Lahore's underworld and owner of a goods transport network, has alleged that Tefi Butt and Gogi Butt wanted to kill him and his brother, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

In a video statement released on Friday, Ameer Muassab said Tefi Butt and Gogi Butt killed his grandfather, father and brother and now they were planning to kill him and his brother. He appealed CCPO Lahore to provide him justice.

He said that the purpose of making the video is to talk about the oppression faced by his family and for 30 years, his family has been bearing all this and cannot bear it any more.

Ameer Muassab alleged that Tefi Butt killed his grandfather with the help of absconders and in 2010, his father was also murdered and then they killed his brother Ameer Balaj Tipu this year.

“I want to ask our institutions where the accused have gone and where did Tefi and Gogi Butt hide, don't our institutions know,” he questioned.

Ameer Muassab appealed that Tefi and Gogi Butt should be arrested as soon as possible. He alleged that a DSP of Punjab Police is their facilitator.

He further said that naming his brother in Javed Butt's murder was part of this planning of killing him and his brother.

In February 2024, Ameer Balaj Tipu was gunned down in what police described as a targeted attack near Thokar Niaz Beg neighbourhood.

According to police, the incident occurred during a wedding ceremony in a residential society near Thokar Niaz Beg as an armed assailant opened fire on Balaj Tipu killing him on the spot.

Balaj Tipu was the son of Arif Amir – alias Tipu Truckanwala – who was also shot dead in the parking lot of the Allama Iqbal International Airport in 2010.
