Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim is set to visit Pakistan in the first week of October, marking his first official trip to the country, diplomatic sources revealed.
A high-level delegation will accompany Anwar Ibrahim on the visit, the first by a Malaysian prime minister in five years. The previous Malaysian leader visited Pakistan in March 2019.
During his stay, Anwar Ibrahim is expected to meet with Pakistani leadership, including Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif.
The visit will focus on strengthening bilateral relations, with discussions on trade, investment, and diplomatic cooperation. Several agreements and memorandums of understanding are anticipated to be signed.
Additionally, both nations will address the Palestinian issue, with a special emphasis on their mutual support for a two-state solution, according to diplomatic sources.
