Salam Air allowed special flights to Pakistan

The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) has permitted Salam Air to fly special flights to bring back Pakistani nationals and airlift Omani citizens stranded here.
The special flights will land at Lahore and Karachi airports.
The special flight on April 16 will bring 150 Pakistani nationals from Muscat to Lahore Airport and airlift 150 Omani nationals the same day.
Salam Air’s second special flight will land on April 17 bringing back 150 Pakistani nationals and airlifting Omani nationals from Karachi International Airport.
Allama Iqbal International Airport Lahore administration has prepared all the arrangements for the flights and installed nine thermal scanners. Passengers will be put in isolation wards at hotels for necessary tests.
The permit issued to the Salam Air stated, “The requests of the Salam Air to operate the requested evacuation flights between Muscat and Lahore/Karachi on April 16 and 17, 2020 respectively for transport[ing] of stranded Pakistani Nationals and airlifting Omani Nationals have been approved by the Competent Authority.”

The permission is given subject to the condition that no disembarkation of flight crew shall be permitted from the aircraft upon arrival at Allama Iqbal International, Lahore and Jinnah International Airport, Karachi.
