Female elephant's condition deteriorates at Karachi Zoo

The health of Noorjahan, the zoo elephant at Karachi Zoo, has deteriorated drastically, 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Thursday.

It is learnt that the female elephant sat in the pond the morning.

It was pulled out of the pond by a crane at 5:30 pm.

According to medical experts, an elephant does not sit for long.

Later it laid down and did not get up till filing of this report.

Its arm is unable to move too. Despite repeated attempts, Zoo Director could not be reached.
