Lahore traffic police introduce 14 restrictions for E-challan defaulters

City Traffic Officer (CTO) Lahore Amara Athar has said that now license and other police services will not be available for e-challan defaulters until the e-challan is submitted, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.
The CTO said that in case of non-payment of e-challan, learner permit, duplicate, fresh license and other facilities will not be available, she added.
The CTO further said that E-challan defaulters will not be able to get 14 different facilities including character certificate and police verification.
Citizens have to violate traffic rules carefully as Safe City Punjab, police service centers and driving license issuance management system have been integrated.
E-challans are being issued for repeated violations including traffic signal, lane, line, smoke emission and one-way traffic.
Moreover, crackdown ordered against those tampering with vehicle number plates.
