Taking to Instagram, the actor penned a note and said: “As we celebrate our 74th Independence Day, I cannot but feel an overwhelming sense of pride towards our country. History is replete with heroic struggles of our ancestors who martyred themselves selflessly so that us, the future generations, could enjoy the fruits of an independent nation. I salute their supreme sacrifice and bow my head in reverence to them.”

He further adds, “On this Independence Day greeting my countrymen who are proud Pakistanis just like me, I urge them to value what has been handed over to us on a platter, by doing good indeed and spirit so that our Parcham-e Sitara o Hilal and the name of Pakistan flies high.”

“I also thank all my fans for the unending love and adulation you have showered on me all these years. As an act of gratitude and also to commemorate our 74th I-Day, I have collaborated with the multi-talented Asim Jofa to bring something that would reiterate how blessed we are to be living in an independent country, to be Pakistanis,” Adnan said.
