Special change of guards ceremonies held at Quaid, Iqbal mausoleums

Special change of guards ceremonies were held at the mausoleums of Quaid-e-Azam and Allama Iqbal on Independence Day, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Monday.

A contingent of the Pakistan Naval Academy cadets assumed honorary guard duties at the mausoleum of Quaid-e-Azam in Karachi.

Pakistan National Academy Commandant Commodore Muhammad Khalid laid flowers at Quaid’s grave and recited Fatiha.

Another special change of guards ceremony was held at the mausoleum of Allama Iqbal in Lahore.

A smart contingent of the Pakistan Army assumed honorary guard duties in place of the Rangers at the mausoleum of Allama Iqbal.

Garrison Commander Major General Qaiser Suleiman laid a flower wreath at Iqbal’s grave and recited Fatiha.
