Singer Abrarul Haq’s car smashes into divider in dense fog

Popular singer and Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) leader Abrarul Haq’s car met with an accident at Ghakkar Mandi, near Wazirabad, on Sunday, resulting in injuries to his nephew while he and his other family members remained safe, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Rescue sources said that due to poor visibility on account of dense fog, Abrar’s car smashed into the road divider on GT Road.

However, the singer luckily escapes any injury.

Dense fog closes highways in Punjab

Thick fog again enveloped different parts of Punjab, including the provincial capital Lahore, on late Saturday night, leading to the closure of motorways for all kinds of traffic besides disrupting routine life.

The fog has been reported from Okara, Narowal, Pakpattan, Manga Mandi, Wazirabad, Gujrat, Gujranwala, Muzaffargarh and other cities.

Motorway Police have advised commuters to avoid unnecessary travelling, and use fog lights in case travelling is necessary.
