The primary suspect, ASI Mukhtiar, remains at large, fueling public anger and grief. The family of the deceased has issued a stern ultimatum, threatening to set fire to the Manghupir police station unless the accused officer is swiftly arrested and brought to justice.

The incident unfolded two days ago when, returning from Shah Noorani, Hashim found himself caught in police gunfire without any apparent signal to stop. The failure to apprehend the responsible police officer has left the victim's family and community devastated, intensifying their grief and anger.

The victim's mother, mourning the loss of her son, expressed that he was the sole breadwinner of their household. Coming to Karachi from Dubai, she shared her heartbreak at the police's fatal shooting of her innocent child. Alongside the mother, the deceased's sister also raised her voice, demanding justice and the punishment of her brother's killers.
