During the talk, HSY says, “Now you have fallen in love. His name is Salim. I will not ask how or when it started, but I have a question. What comes to your mind when you look at him or when you look into his eyes?”

Mahira initially refuses to talk about her newfound love, saying: “I’m not talking about love anymore. Please! I’m scared. Oh God! What are you making me do? I’m really thinking hard whether I should answer [this question or not] because I just know this is going to be everywhere.”

And then she agrees to answer HSY’s question and says, “I must have done something good in my life that’s why God has given me, you know, [that man].”

Salim Karim is the CEO of Simpaisa start-up, a Karachi-based network carrier billing company, which lets people make payments directed from the sim. Apart from this, Salim is a DJ. Mahira attended the launch of a television application 'Tapmad TV' with him in the beginning of 2017. Mahira had earlier shared photos with Salim from a friend's wedding on her Instagram account. The two were reportedly seen dancing at a party and indulging in public display of affection as well.

Mahira, who shot to fame with drama serial Humsafar opposite Fawad Khan and then made her Bollywood debut with Raees opposite Shah Rukh Khan, was previously married to Ali Askari. They tied the knot in 2007 and have a son (Azlaan) together. Azlaan was born in 2014 and they got divorced in 2015.
