Federal cabinet Tuesday approved the removal of Secretary Federal Ombudsman Ejaz Ahmad, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Sources privy to the matter said the appointment of Grade-22 officer Humaira Ahmed as Secretary Federal Ombudsman has been approved.
The Federal Cabinet approved the summary of the Establishment Division through circulation.
Sources said that Pakistan Administrative Service's Humaira Ahmed was an OSD in Establishment Division.
Ejaz Ahmad will be posted as member in-charge in the regional office of the Federal Ombudsman in Karachi.
With the approval of the Prime Minister, the summary was sent to the Federal Cabinet for approval.
It is pertinent to note that during the PTI era, Ejaz Ahmad was appointed as Secretary Federal Ombudsman.
