Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) central leader and former Punjab chief minister Hamza Shehbaz has said the general elections of 2024 will be the most difficult polls in history.
“All the political parties should join their hands for the country's economy,” he said while talking to reporters on Monday.
“Together we have to control dollar and oil prices,” the former chief minister stressed. He recalled bogus cases were made against him and his family and they got a clean chit from courts after hectic efforts.
He stressed that political parties should have tolerance and they must show patience.
“The continuity of government’s policy must not be hindered.
“Differences have always been emerging in political parties.
“Democratic process must go on.
“The most important thing is to save Pakistan.
“The intolerance must be put to an end for the sake of the country
“Politics of patience will be productive.”
“The people have always been at the receiving end when a country lands in trouble.”
He said during the sixteen months of government, Shehbaz Sharif did a lot to save the country.
He added: “The establishment plays an important role all over the world.
“It is a good thing if the establishment supports a government.
“A good relationship with the establishment works well.”
“Everyone has a role to play.”
He continued: “The Almighty has blessed Pakistan with immense resources.
“We can solve many of our problems through agriculture.
He stressed the need to take steps to eradicate corruption
“I do not believe in NAB's procedure.”
No character is important, public service matters.
“I have paid three visits to South Punjab and the party will bring in betterment.”
“The most important thing is to bring the youth together.”
