Many users always find their notification bar filled with unread messages, from family conversations, business updates, or group chats.

The continuous notification badge can be annoying, especially when you don't have time to read and reply to every message.

There's a useful trick that allows you to quickly mark all messages as read and get rid of the notifications without having to open each chat.

Just open WhatsApp and go to the main conversation window to do this.
By swiping down, users will reveal filter options like All, Unread, Favorites, and Groups.

Holding the Unread button reveals a hidden option Mark as read’, which instantly removes all unread notifications.

For those who want to mark only specific chats as read, they can select the desired conversations by holding down the chat, then tapping the three vertical dots in the corner and choosing “Mark as read.”
