Police have solved the blind murder case of Lahore-based model Nayab Nadeem by concluding that her step-brother was her murderer, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The police said on Sunday that the model’s stepbrother Mohammad Ali strangled her stepsister to death but posed the tragedy as a rape and murder case.
The police investigation concluded that all the leads from the crime scene pointed towards the victim’s step-brother. “The accused is also the complainant in the case and was detained by the police,” the investigators said, adding it appeared that Ali murdered her for 'honour'.

The police said they had registered a case on the complaint of Nayab's stepbrother Mohammad Ali, who stated that he had found her body lying on the floor when he came to visit her.
It is relevant to mention that Nayab was found dead at her residence in Lahore's Defence B area on July 11. The 29-year-old model was strangulated and ‘unidentified’ men had also subjected her to torture. Nayab lived alone at her residence.
The police said the murderer had taken the slain model's phone with him and had escaped from the backside of the house. "The deceased had returned to Lahore from Dubai recently," the police said earlier.
