Pakistan receives Independence Day wishes from space

Emirati Astronaut Monday wished Pakistanis on the Independence Day showing a space view of the Federal capital, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
An astronaut, Sultan AlNeyadi, who belongs to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) took to twitter and posted a photo of Islamabad taken from the space.
He said that he wishes a Happy Independence Day to all Pakistanis, especially those living in the UAE. “As one of the largest expat communities in my country, we have lived together for years and learned a lot about your rich culture. Here's your capital, Islamabad, from space.”
The astronaut, Sultan AlNeyadi, who holds the title of the first Arab to have spent the longest time in International Space Station (ISS) hailed the relationship Pakistan and UAE have.
Pakistan and the UAE have shared a cordial relationship since long. Pakistan was reportedly the first country to send an ambassador to the UAE only six months after the country took birth.
The Pakistani community living in the UAE celebrated their 76th Independence anniversary. Flag hoisting ceremonies were held at the Pakistan consulate in Dubai and embassy in Abu Dhabi.
