PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari while congratulating nation on country’s 77th birthday said that PPP will ensure rule of law, equality and democracy in the country, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
In a special message to the nation on country’s 77th birthday, there was need of the hour that all stake holders join hands for the future and uplift of the country.
Bilawal said PPP was committed to take the nation out of the crisis of inflation, unemployment and poverty. He urged all Pakistanis to renew their commitment to uphold the principles of freedom, democracy and unity.
Bilawal said PPP was committed to promote democracy, which will lead the country to the growth and development.
Bilawal Zardari said “on the occasion of Independence Day, we pay tribute to the sacrifices of our forefathers, we salute to our seniors, who fought for our freedom and independence”.
Bilawal said today is a day to reflect the vision of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah and his democratic ideals.
PPP leader said “the authoritarian periods of rule undermined fundamental freedoms and rights. PPP is committed to the principles and vision of its founding fathers. The ideology of Shaheed Zulfikar Bhutto and Benazir Bhutto can guide the nation”.
Bilawal said President Zardari's vision of reconciliation and national unity is a source of hope and strength to deal with challenges. He said People's Party will continue its war against terrorism.
