Opposition leader in Punjab Assembly Ahmed Khan Bachar has said that PTI was not allowed to take out rally on August 2014 and police did not spare their workers even on independence day, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.


Talking to media with other PTI leader, Ahmed Khan Bachar said that it was alarming that PTI was not allowed rally on this auspicious day as police launched crackdown on their workers. He said only in Lahore more than 25 PTI workers were taken into custody by police. He said one of PTI workers was missing while number of PTI workers were still in police custody.


Ahmed Khan Bachar said that Inspector General of Punjab Police was awarded Hilal-e-Imtiaz by the government for raiding the houses of the PTI leaders and workers.


He said Punjab Chief Minister instead of showing performance in public service was only crushing and sidelining PTI workers.


Ahmed Bachar said the government was afraid of a man who was in jail. He said how the government will manage affairs when Imran Khan will be out of the jail.


He said the government has failed to control inflation while the poor people were committing suicides. PTI District Lahore President Asghar Gujjar said that more than 20 PTI workers were arrested during seminar on August 14.
