Punjab govt decides reward position-holders of all educational boards

Good news for position holder students as Punjab government has decided to award prizes to the position holders of all the education boards, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Thursday.

Presiding over a special meeting, Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has approved awarding prizes to the position holders with directing to take necessary steps for laptop scheme.

On the instructions of the Chief Minister, the teachers of the students will also be rewarded.

Students’ scholarship has also been approved by Chief Minister under which the Punjab government will pay all the educational expenses of 25 thousand students.

The Punjab government will pay more than two hundred billion annually for the educational expenses of 25 thousand students.

On the direction of Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, the transport program for female students was started and buses will be given to 60 girl colleges of Punjab in the first phase.

The Chief Minister also gave approval for the establishment of IT hubs in all the districts of Punjab and ordered immediate steps for the establishment of such IT hub.
