Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa Wednesday telephoned Speaker Punjab Assembly Chaudhry Parvez Elahi and inquired after the well-being of Chaudhry Shujat Hussain.
He prayed to Almighty Allah for a speedy and complete recovery of Ch Shujat Hussain.
Former Prime Minister Mian Nawaz Sharif and former Finance Minister Ishaq Dar also telephoned Ch Parvez Elahi.
The two leaders inquire after the well-being of Ch Shujat Hussain and wished him well.
Talking to Ch Parvez Elahi, Nawaz Sharif invited him and Ch Shujat to London and said they must meet him whenever they visit London.
Ch Parvez Elahi congratulated Mian Nawaz Sharif on the marriage of his grandson Junaid Safdar, son of Maryam Nawaz, for which Nawaz Sharif thanked Ch Shujat Hussain and Ch Parvez Elahi.
