Coal gas kills two in Abbottabad hotel room

Two people from Mansehra died of suffocation in a hotel room in Abbottabad's Nithia Gali area on Wednesday night, police said.

According to a 24NewsHD TV channel’s report, the victims, identified as Muhammad Asif and Muhammad Naeem, had reportedly burned coal to keep themselves warm and slept in the room filled with poisonous gas.

The hotel staff found them unconscious in the morning and rushed them to a local hospital, where they were pronounced dead.
