Teen girl shoots eve-teaser in Mardan

A 20-year-old youth was injured when a 16-year-old girl in Katlang area of Mardan, fed up with eve-teasing, had to resort to an extreme step by picking up a pistol and opening fire at him, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.
The girl’s brother, on the other hand, got a First Information Report (FIR) registered against the youth.
According to the FIR, the girl took aim at the boy’s chest and fired after he kept pestering her by passing lewd remarks and making objectionable gestures towards her.
It is further stated in the FIR that this was not the first incident of its kind. Hitherto, too, the same youth had harassed her in the fields.
