A 20-year-old girl committed suicide by hanging herself to a ceiling fan in the Faisal Town area of Lahore over a domestic dispute on Tuesday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Lahore police reached the site and shifted the body to the morgue.
The police officials said that they have launched an investigation considering all aspects bending the alleged suicide.
Separately, a mentally retarded youth committed suicide by setting himself on fire in the Punjab Institute of Mental Health located on Jail Road in Lahore.
The deceased, Aleem, hailed from Sialkot, was admitted to the mental hospital and was undergoing treatment there.
Police said that the victim succumbed to his injuries at the spot.
