ECP rejects Nawaz Sharif’s appeal against NA-15 Mansehra winner

A two-member bench of the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has rejected an appeal submitted by PML-N Quaid Nawaz Sharif seeking suspension of victory notification of an independent candidate in NA-15 Mansehra constituency, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The two-member ECP bench headed by Chief Election Commissioner Sikandar Sultan Raja conducted the hearing on Nawaz Sharif’s application on Thursday.
On the occasion Returning Officer NA-15 Mansehra submitted his report to the Election Commission, contending that all results of the constituency were compiled as per Form 45.
Nawaz Sharif's lawyer requested the ECP to stop the victory notification of the independent candidate Prince Gastasab.
The Election Commission, after rejecting the request of PML-N Quaid’s counsel who came late to the proceedings, directed him to submit the application afresh.
