Hajj may cost over Rs0.5m this year

Ministry working on cutting the cost

Federal Religious Affairs Ministry has said that Hajj this year may cost more than half a million rupees.

However, Hajj Formulation Committee has been given the task to work out ways to lessen the cost for this year’s pilgrimage.

The ministry has forwarded Hajj Policy 2020 to Hajj Formulation Committee for its input. It will forward the policy to the federal cabinet for its approval soon.
