Ahsan Iqbal exposes Daniyal Aziz's political maneuvers amid ticket controversy

 Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) leader and former federal minister Ahsan Iqbal has exposed the political maneuvering of Daniyal Aziz (without taking his name), alleging that Aziz never applied for a PML-N ticket and was instead eyeing a ticket from the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).

According to the 24NewsHD TV channel, Ahsan Iqbal recalled the 2013 elections when PML-N leadership initially hesitated to grant Daniyal Aziz a party ticket.

However, he claimed to have personally pleaded for Aziz and gave his guarantee to the party.

In a candid admission, Iqbal revealed that after Daniyal Aziz's accident, he ensured that all doctors at the DHQ Hospital were on standby, emphasizing that Gen (Retd) Qamar Bajwa informed him that timely first aid in Narowal was crucial for Aziz's survival.

Expressing his frustration, Ahsan Iqbal alleged that Daniyal Aziz, despite accusing PML-N of inflation and holding him responsible, was oblivious to the fact that the country's economic challenges were a result of PTI's IMF program.

Furthermore, Iqbal claimed that Aziz went as far as holding a press conference against him to please PTI, revealing Aziz's interest in securing a PTI ticket. Aziz reportedly sought a PML-N ticket on the final day after facing rejection from the PTI ranks.
