Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz on Wednesday said that Honhaar Scholarship Programme is one of Pakistan's largest scholarship schemes and scholarships are being provided to brilliant students purely on merit, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
She expressed these views while addressing a gathering to distribute scholarships among students under Honhaar Scholarship Programme in Sialkot.
Maryam Nawaz said that brilliant students are future of Pakistan. She further revealed that students of second and third year will avail Honhaar Scholarship Program soon.
The Chief Minister said that appointments in Punjab police taking place without on merit.
Maryam Nawaz said that she is trying that no children left in the province without education. She assured to provide financial support to deserve and brilliant students.
