The 24NewsHD on Friday denied a news item doing rounds on social media under its logo about the chief of Tehreek-i-Labbaik Pakistan, terming it fake.
According to 24News TV channel, a fake screenshot of the TV channel logo was used on a fabricated news regarding recovery of alcohol bottles from the car of TLP chief Hafiz Saad Hussain Rizvi.
The TV channel clarified that the news item was fake as it neither reported nor had broadcast such news.
The organization said that many of its viewers and users also confirmed this after research.
The 24News organization has said that it condemns the vile propaganda by making this fake news viral on social media.
It says that it reserves the right to take legal action against those behind this nefarious act.
