The Meteorological Department reports that Karachi is currently experiencing clear skies and dry weather with 21 degrees Celsius, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
However, with intense sunlight expected throughout the day, there is a possibility of a temperature increase.
The city’s weather is characterized by a low humidity level of 22 percent. Winds from the north are blowing at a speed of 11 kilometers per hour, adding to the city’s pleasant weather conditions.
The maximum temperature for the day is expected to reach 33 degrees Celsius, indicating a significant rise from the current temperature.
In terms of pollution levels, Karachi ranks eighth in the list of the world’s most polluted cities, according to the Air Quality Index.
The city’s air contains 158 particulate meters of polluted particles, a concerning figure that underscores the need for effective pollution control measures.
Meanwhile, in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), the weather is expected to remain dry in most districts, including Peshawar.
However, the upper districts will continue to experience cold weather. These districts are also likely to experience light rain with thundershowers and snowfall over the mountains.
The minimum temperature in these areas is expected to be 12 degrees Celsius, rising to a maximum of 18 degrees Celsius. The humidity ratio in the air is recorded at 80 percent.
Over the next 24 hours, the weather in most areas of KP is expected to remain dry, while the upper districts will continue to experience cold weather. In the last 24 hours, KP, along with Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan, received rain accompanied by strong winds and thunder, and snowfall in the mountains.
