US Navy ship, Indianapolis, reaches Karachi Port on goodwill visit

Pakistan Navy officials on Thursday welcomed the US Navy ship, Indianapolis, which arrived at Karachi Port on a goodwill visit, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

According to spokesperson for the ISPR, the purpose of the US Navy ship’s visit was to promote ties between the navies of the two countries.

During the visit, navies of both the countries would participate in a joint exercise, the spokesman informed.

The visit highlights bilateral ties and mutual cooperation between the USA and Pakistan, he said, adding, “Pakistan Navy is committed to regional stability and peace.”
