Mohsin Naqvi responds to wife’s name in Dubai property leaks report

Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi said Tuesday that the property purchased in Dubai under his wife’s name was declared with relevant authorities

His statement came after a bombshell report revealed that several prominent Pakistanis owned assets in the Gulf emirate till 2022 in which the name of Pakistan’s security czar’s wife also emerged.

Taking to Twitter Naqvi gave a Fact Check to the report.

“The Dubai property bought in my wife's name since 2017 is fully declared and listed in tax returns. It was also declared in returns submitted to the Election Commission as Caretaker CM of Punjab. The property was sold a year ago, and a new property was purchased recently with the proceeds,” he revealed in the post.
