Shehbaz gears up contacts with opposition leaders to defeat govt

Pakistan Muslim League (Nawaz) President and Opposition leader in National Assembly Shehbaz Sharif has expedited his campaign of making contacts with the opposition leaders, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Shehbaz Sharif on Monday rang Pakistan People’s Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and Pakistan Democratic Movement Chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman. He also called Qaumi Watan Party head Aftab Sherpao and Balochistan National Party Chairman Sardar Akhtar Mengal.
He had telephonic conversations with ANP central leader Amir Haider Hoti, Shafiq Tareen and Balochistan Party’s leader Dr Abdul Malik Baloch and Mohsin Dawar.
He also held talks with JI Amir Sirajul Haq on phone.
In his telephonic conversations with different leaders, Shehbaz appreciated the united efforts of the opposition and thanked the opposition parties. He was of the view that the opposition parties had shown an unprecedented unity in the national interest.
Shehbaz held that the principled stance of the opposition and the government’s allied parties had made the government to retreat.
He was optimistic that the united front of the opposition would defeat the black laws and mal intention of the government in the upcoming joint session of parliament.
